The walk on November 5 from John Street Wharf Rydalmere to Meadowbank. Once again, a beautiful day for a walk along the waters edge. With a slight breeze at times, it made the walk a very enjoyable one. Thank you to the 6 others who joined me and it was just unfortunate that a few had to cancel.

As this was the last walk for 2025, I would just like to thank all who joined Al and I on these walks. I hope that you all enjoyed them as much as I did and whilst I did get a little confused as to which way to go sometimes the good news is I didn’t lose anybody. Hopefully next year there will be a lot more other places to explore, places we haven’t been to.

Next walk will be in March 2026. Destination unknown at this stage. For more information, please…

Yet another glorious day for a walk. We managed to avoid the windy days both before and definitely after. The harbour was at its sparkling best, and the walk was a very pleasant one after reaching the top of the first two hills. (Don’t remember them being that steep). It was lovely to have a visitor from our last meeting join us and whilst 6 people unable to make it we still had 12 turn up.

Next walk on November 5th is from John Street Wharf Rydalmere to Meadowbank. There is a lovely coffee shop at Meadowbank Wharf, so we will indulge in goodies and drinks whilst we wait for the ferry to take us back to Rydalmere. Meeting at John Street Wharf at 10am. This will the last walk for 2025. The walking group will be having a well-earned break and our first walk for 2026 will be in…

Another beautiful day for our walk around Fred Caterson Reserve. With 8 people attending we all had a lovely stroll the bush stopping occasionally to look for and listen to the kookaburras who by the way were in fine voice. The cockatoos also did their best to deter us from walking. As it was only just over 3 kilometers long, we finished in time to head off to the Wonder. Full Eatery at Knightsbridge Shopping Centre for refreshments and morning tea.

Our next walk on October 1st is from Neutral Bay Ferry Wharf to Old Cremorne Ferry Wharf. This may sound familiar and you would be right. We decided to end our August walk at Neutral Bay, so this is the conclusion of that walk.

Meeting at Wharf 4 Circular Quay around 9-30am to catch the 9-55am ferry to Neutral Bay. A decision will be made on the day regarding…
