THURSDAY 19TH MARCH - ANNUAL BBQ @ GALSTON RESERVE
Final numbers required by February’s Meeting for catering purposes. Our BBQ will be held regardless of the weather as the picnic area is under shelter. There is fixed seating attached to the sides of the picnic tables. You may prefer to bring your chairs or cushions as the seats are hard!
Directions: Turn right off Old Northern Road (after the overbridge and Flower Power) into Galston Road. The Reserve is several kms along on the left, just past Galston High School which is on the right. The picnic area is at the end of the reserve area just past the Aquatic Centre and a slight bend in the road. Drive along driveway and there is plenty of free parking at the end near the picnic area. Bring: Your own tablecloth (if desired) and nibbles, a salad and/or a dessert to share and beverages you wish to drink, plus your own plates, cutlery and glass/cup. Also please bring serving utensils for the salads and desserts. You may wish to BYO tea/coffee in a flask. The Club will provide Sausages, onions, bread rolls, butter, condiments, serviettes and cooks.
